Professor Makeen has more than 35 years experience in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Internal Medicine from KSA, Sudan, and is currently based in Dubai working at Uptodate Medicare Centre. He worked previously as Consultant Physician in Internal Medicine and Endocrinologist in major hospitals in KSA and Sudan: Assir Central hospital - Abha (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Alnoor Specialist hospital - Mecca (KSA), King Faisal Specialist hospital and Research Centre Jeddah (KSA), Khartoum & Ibrahim Malik Teaching hospitals (Sudan).
